I love it! What appeared to be a beautiful pond was really a mud hole.
I keep telling y'all "The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflectance" and that" being a pro weddingg short is not for lazy or faint of heart!
Just think about it, if the light and the subjects in that shot were at different angles the poor guy would need to carry an entrenching tool (see image) and dig down in the mud- I hope he parked a change of clothes.
Just too funny. But hey, he got the shot.
I don't know what they're paying this guy; but it's not enough!
Hey, I'm a fan of Nature Conservancy but was this a commercial?
Creative photographers have always known how to use what nature presents to them.
Here is a photo from the famed Valley of Fire, Nevada, USA. Many who have enjoyed this photo have asked me where is this body of water in the Valley of Fire. Well it is just a rain puddle on a road through the Valley of Fire, and I got down low with a wide angle lens and shot close to the puddle to get the composition with the reflection of the distant large red rocks. No post processing manipulation used.
Cheers and best to you.
Excellent demonstration that a photo isnt finished til its finished.
