Every year a patch of the ugliest weeds pop up in my yard and I dare not cut them as I care for my lawn.... Because as Spring passes into Summer they bud amazing flowers that remind me of a "Court Jester's" hat.... Bee Balm. These buds are the first of the season and in a week or two I will have a large patch of them and the flowers will grow much larger, the hummers love them.

Nicely shown. Beebalm is an aphrodisiac for hummers. Our patches are a week or so away from blooms and the birds are ready. July and August are very busy months around here, lots of birds and fun shooting. Well worth the year-long wait.
