PhotoShop was a barrier to entry, both on cost and training / experience. And then, Adobe Lightroom showed you could do more in less time on 100x more images. But still, the PS die-hards man the barriers everyday claiming only PS can deliver anything acceptable, especially from a DSLR.
I beg to differ - my photos still get plenty of clicks and likes and awards. I am a looooong way from being out to pasture. Nor do I consider myself a dinosaur (or Rinosaur).
