From my back yard in 2021. Two adults and chick walked through my yard several times that season. The cranes stayed in the subdivision until the chick fledged.
I let the back yard grow wild. The front yard lawn is maintained to keep up appearances.

I enjoy seeing Sandhills and their colts. 1st ones I saw were in Homer, AK.
