Former AG Barr Makes His Case Against the Nomination of Trump as the Republican P**********l Candidate for 2024.
Contrary to what many democrats here believe I think that Barr was an honest and forthright AG who made an effort to rectify some of the organizational bias of the Justice Department. To me he was a great AG who served the country well. I would also note that Bill Barr knows the former president including his strengths and weaknesses much better than any of the talking heads we see in the media. I think that all conservatives and republicans should take the time to read and understand this piece.

Though it was evident at the time that President Donald Chump and the Department of Justice (DOJ) were closely aligned, the full extent to which the agency took its direction from Chump and fulfilled his political wishes is only now becoming clearer.
Recent reports show the department under both Attorneys General Jeff Sessions and William P. Barr secretly sought and obtained phone and email records of journalists, lawmakers and even White House Counsel Donald McGahn in pursuit of leaks related to politically damaging news stories.
From Barr’s efforts to neuter the Mueller investigation and to burying the Ukraine whistleblower’s complaint to public validations of Trump’s claims about v***r f***d in the 2020 e******n, Barr appeared to equate serving the White House’s political interests with the DOJ’s mission and constitutional duty to the country.
Oh, yeah! he was a GREAT AG!

Good read. Trump's biggest enemy is his own ego and narcissistic behavior.

So.... A leak investigation is cause to distrust the head of the DOJ? I guess that you forget that it is illegal for the DOJ to leak.... Where were you on the Obama administration's tapping of journalist's phones and the phones of their families and employers?

NO! JA I was responding directly to the hypocrisy of Boo.... You are such a fool Denny, I was the OP here and certainly not defending Trump, but I do call out the hypocrisy of the left and especially you.
It is hilarious that you call yourself a conservative.

What they don't realize is that their whataboutisms are the equivalent of the following discussion progression path of trump and trump toadies
He didn't do it
Reports that he did are lies and partisan and h**e based
Well, maybe he did it, but for good reasons
Well, so and so did it too (and worse, of course)
It's part of a conspiracy; he's being treated differently
It's not fair
If so and so wasn't jailed, he shouldn't be either
He should be treated differently as the former POTUS
No where in all if that is an educated straight up "yup, it looks like he did the alleged crimes as outlined in the indictments which I have read, and he should be judged solely by his actions in our court systems." Then and only then would they be true patriots acting in ways that preserve the USA democracy and law and order roots.

It's called "illegal wire-tapping".
Why don't YOU tell me where I was on the Obama admin's tapping of phones? You surely seem to know everything.
Aboutism at it's finest!
