My wife and I spent a few days in Atlantic City and our hotel overlooked the beach. On the last day there I was out of the room around early (with camera) and caught a very nice sunrise.
The attached image was taken with an attempt to preserve both highlights and shadow detail. It could really benefit from your editing expertise and some TLC to bring out its potential.
Feel free to download this image to your computer. Then you can edit it any way that you think is an improvement. Composites, black and white conversions, textures, sky swaps, inverted images, solarization, or whatever else you think will improve the photo are acceptable techniques for your edit. My View. Color tones adjusted.
I was considering adjusting the horizon, but noticed all the light posts were vertical so I didn't adjust it.

Not going to waste my time on that one. I like it just as it is - maybe a more landscapy crop as per RJ's.
