The canola fields around the valley are starting to bloom and the yellow color is really starting to pop!. It's so pretty and pictures just don't do them justice.

Thanks everyone for commenting and liking the shot. Pictures just don't do these fields justice, the yellows against the green's just don't seem to come out right in a picture.

I agree. I have shot canola fields and have the same problem.

I like the shot you presented.
For a change consider getting way farther back and using a much longer lens and trying to “compress” the greens and yellows together. Just a thought.

Beautiful! These fields have begun to pop up all around this part of PA. We never saw them until about five years ago and they put on such a show, people would come from all around the valley to look at them. I got a similar shot to yours about a month ago but with mine, the field is in a hilly area and the extent of the field can't be seen as well as yours. The expanse of some of these fields is amazing.
