Well, fellow UHH'rs...
This past week we had a major flood due to a 80psi feed pipe to the washroom loo broke. The result was ~.75" water in the downstairs area flooding my office, the bathroom, the laundry room, the kitchen, the formal dining room, the family room, the hallway, the far bedroom, and the downstairs washroom. All in all, I had to use a wet-dry vac and removed ~90 gals of water from the downstairs.
ServPro came out and placed all the dehumidiriers (Qty 3) downstairs as well as 16 fans to dry the walls. As of today, we still have serious "wet walls and baseboards".
ServPro said ~$350k in damages to include $23k in packing and storage.
Today, one entire electrical circuit is dead. It is definitely on a wall that had water damage.
If possible, please provide some guidance so I can navigate insurance and construction. I will be getting 3 bids for repairs.
Thanks, guys
