Under the fog is what the locals refer to as the river bottom. I believe that they are growing alfalfa down there but who would know, it was all grey this morning.

It was too early for decent light and I was enroute to work so there wasn't a lot of time to play with it. I was kind of hoping for the road disappearing into the fog motif, may be next time.

Wow. It's obvious why they call it river bottom!

Nice. At first, I wondered you were talking about fog in nature or mental fog.

Ironically, the Arkansas River is just below and on the other side of the line of trees where the fog stops. I also found it kind of interesting that the fog almost perfectly delineates that field.

This was taken near my home and I was in Crowley County and on the other side of the Arkansas is Otero County. The buildings that you see in the background are in the west end of a town called Fowler.

Thanks for popping in Bill.

Someday, I take off my glasses to clear the lenses. When I put them back on, the view is just as cloudy.

Thank you, Cindy, the power poles were left in there as a not so sublte hint as to where to look. :)

Ironically, I had the D 750 with the 24-70 and the 70-200 behind the driver's seat - with no time to to get it out and fuss with it so what that was is what I refer as a CPP (Crappy Phone Pic) with some quickie retouching with Apples's native editor.

I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

Thank you Joe, I thought that it was fairly decent for a quickie. I am glad that you liked it.

To me the power poles yield a better definition of depth for the foreground.

Thank you Sir, after seeing how you "see" I will take that as a compliment. Much appreciated.
