Over the years, I have become very good at impulse buying. In case you're curious about how it works, there are three steps: See it; Like it; Buy it. When I have to order something, I sometimes wind up having second thoughts.
In April, I ordered a ukulele from Italy. I'll receive it in November. In May, I ordered a Nikon Z8. I'll receive it ...? As time goes by, I wonder if it would be possible for me to continue living without these two items. I have ukuleles, and I have cameras. Should I cancel the orders? Decisions, decisions.

I know you said you were really enjoying your Z6ii, but I think the Z8 will become your favorite especially if Nikon adds that auto capture in a future firmware update like they just did for the Z9.
I watched a few videos from pros on NikonRumors who were using it and very excited by it.

Yes, patience is a virtue, but so is having a credit card with a zero balance.
I know how it goes but if you have the money then it doesn't matter.
I usually buy only when I have a need (98+%).
Like I just bought a USB cable tester.
It tells me if the cables are power only, broken, or intermittent (wiggle the wires at the connector when testing).
First saw it maybe a year ago?
I won't use it a lot, but it's very handy when I have a cable in question.
I like the looks, reviews, and price of that one better.

So did I.
You do need a cable to power it, which is fine - no battery to keep track.
Jerry, you can never have enough ukuleles, I have the same problem with guitars.

Ukes are smaller and less expensive.
