He was proud as proud could be, and Emorie was proud also because Dad is an over-the-road truck driver and he had just gone back out on the road a few days before this and he surprised her by making it back to see this.

Just a thought from a new 90 year old about keeping a record of occasions such as emorie’s dance recital. In my case I do a yearly photo album and diary of our nearby granddaughter so she’ll be able to find things such as the names of friends, etc. Amazing how quickly those details can be forgotten. I’m now on my 18th book. Hoping our Emma will find them interesting when she turns 90. And it’s been fun as well

Yes, we actually do that. Emorie turns 4 in August, each year we make an album with photo's from each month of that year for her.
