A few from a short walk today.
A pair of Pacific Forktails
A swallowtail on a blackberry blossom (An Oregon swallowtail I believe)
A Common Whitetail (although not so common here)
A Western Pondhawk
The Whitetail and the Pondhawk were very good at camouflage and hard to find if I looked away.

Another great set Vic! I'll be posting a few soon. What set up are you using? Do shoot hand-held?

Thanks Tony! I'll be looking forward to them. Always something unique and beautiful coming from you.
Lately I've been using a Nikon Z9. The last set was with a Nikon 300mm PF with an adapter for the Zmount. The previous set was with 100-400 and 70-200 Z lenses. I always shoot hand held. The stabilization in the camera plus the one in the lens, is as good as a tripod for me , but mostly it's a lot lighter and quicker to use. I always use a telephoto as they do nice things to the backgrounds.
Thanks for the thumbs tcthome!
