Alaska 2023 cruise

I returned home from a Princess cruise to Alaska over the weekend. The weather was pretty terrible the entire trip but I'm going through the images. Here are a few that I've processed so far.

Great set of pics. You will remember this trip always as bad as it may have been as we sometimes only travel to a destination once.

Thanks, and for anyone interested, this was the original image. I took it with this type of final image in my head. And no, I did not replace the sky. I manipulated the RAW file with exposure and dehaze and a few other tricks to death to get the desired result. If had a tripod at the time, I would have taken a longer exposure and gotten more movement in the clouds.

Thanks Jim, it was my 2nd trip but the first one was with kids and other family members. I had a bit more freedom this time for photos, but it rained 9/10 days on the trip. The only day it didnt rain was the last day at sea. All the locals in each port were talking about how beautiful the weather was the week before and was supposed to be right after we left. Oh well. I put my wife in charge of the weather. Shrugs.

I have to go with 3 and 4. My kind of view. The glacier is also nice, even though disappearing. Also applaud you're bravery for doing the painful cruise thing.
