I decided to try some different settings to photograph a local air show. After two days of shooting, I have culled 9,000 show images down to 650. A lot of those were efforts attempting to pan some of the faster WW2 fighters and stunt planes. Then throwing in trying to keep up with an F16, well let's just say that high speed burst mode got quite the workout!! Of those 650, here are some of my favorites from the air show. OK, I'll admit to having a man crush on these planes! Anyway, some for you to see what I like and hopefully enjoy yourself!

All shot with the Z9 paired with the 100-400 S lens. Prop planes were shot in shutter priority most in the 1/160 - 1/200 range. ISO 60 and the camera doing its thing for aperture. The jet was shot wide open in aperture priority (usuall f5.6), auto ISO (in the 100-200 range) and a minimum shutter speed at 1/2000th

I wasn't sure where to post it so took my chances here. I'll see if I still have time to move it.

Looks like I can edit the post, but didn't see where to change the gallery. If you can help, please let me know what to do. Otherwise, it will be chalked up to a lesson learned for the next time.

Alas, only ADMIN can move a post between sections. There's a move-request option in the drop-down list of the <Report> button. Sections also occur as a drop-down when creating a new post.

Thank you! I have submitted a move request. Good to know. I did know about the original drop down option and didn't see where I would have moved it. The very vast majority of my experience is with sports posts. I am ignorant as to what goes into some of the other. A lesson learned today! Thank you.

That was putting the Z9 through its paces. Very nicely done.

Anybody can request that misplaced pictures be moved to the appropriate section. As far as I know, only admin can actually move them.
