Great set

Im.no expert but Merlin suggests that it is either a Veery or a Swainson Thrush

Wonderful set Timothy, those guys can be really hard to find

Thanx! Very hard. My first two attempts were in the trees. My images are of trees-no bird! Luckily one landed in our stump pool and stayed long enough for me to get a few snaps. Looks like a few of the juvenile Sparrows about. Beak is different though.

Thanx! Merlin Audio first alerted me this little guy. Looks like a couple of the juvenile Sparrow species here abouts so I did not pay attention. The Merlin listed Swainson’s Thrush.

A fine set, Tim. Great job.

Thanx! It finally settled down and took a bath. Otherwise I may not have gotten any quality shots.

Nice collection. I think I like the first one the best. I seem to favor shots when the birds head is turned opposite the body position. In this shot, the birds body is slightly turned to right, and the head is toward the left. Meets my preferred position. All sharp and well exposed. With the secret active little thrushes, I tend to hear them, but not see them. This guy gave you a performance. Thanks for sharing.

Thanx! I try to post different poses to give a good look at the details of the critters.
