When I arrived around 5:30 in the afternoon there were two other photographers from Texas at the top of the hill. By the time I left just before sunset there must have been nearly a hundred photographers spread out around the top of the butte. It was a hazy day with a lot of dust and perhaps some Canadian forest fire smoke in the air. However, I managed to come away with some shots I like and wanted to share with others. @saxman71, you did well. Beautiful shots in spite of the handicaps you faced!
