A backyard variety using the new (to me)cropping tool on the Canon website.

A old dog can learn new tricks thanks to Paul in Chicago telling me not to fight the camera and use some of its automatic settings instead of always using Manual. These were taken using a Canon T7 with an EF 70-200 1:4 L IS USM Canon lens handheld. They would have come out a little sharper using a tripod, but I'm happy with them. I had the camera set on AV and used auto-focus.

Great set! Paul gives outstanding, spot-on advice. His photos are the very best quality we see on UHH!

Yes, that works. Why struggle with manual when your camera has a computer built in? Just learn to use the computer. It is not always right, but you can fix that.
