Really nicely done. Since nothing is perfect, (I can attest to that personally) I did find a couple of very minor flaws. Looks like the nose there is a bit of a smudged. And there is ever so little bits of white around the hair. I really had to look hard to find them. If this was mine I would be really happy with the results.

thanks! good points. One interesting point that makes good conversation... I put a little bit of myself into the image - I mean I worked on it for a while. But here is the thing... since the AI did so much of it, I really don't feel an ownership like I would have if it were my photograph (even if it was a bird and all I did was click). Or a painting...

It's mostly like - I let the roulette wheel spin and really liked what came out, but it does not feel like Mine. At best I was a curator of interesting images and I picked my favorite and worked on it some more hoping that I would not screw it up too badly!

Consider yourself the Director and not an actor in your image making. It was you who put the parts together. You ever look at all the credits after viewing a movie or TV show.
Everyone had a job to get the final results.

The skin tones could almost be Bouguereau and the whole thing has a lovely tone to it Piet. I’m genuinely interested to know whether you find it as satisfying to produce as say, your painted figure composites for which I remember you? Will you still have the urge to use your own photos or is AI the way forward for you?

Edit: I now see you’ve answered my question in part when responding to Frank - and I didn’t realise you’d worked on the image as well. You need to sort the nose tip and the choker Piet! And I love the AI’s choice of earring!

yes - LOL, but I dislike the lack of control. Utterly at the mercy of the egocentric actor! But even that is becoming less and less true. Things like "control-net" let you force the AI to follow certain poses for example. I think it is slowly becoming more like a controlled render than like a random crap shoot.

LOL, the earring had much of me in it, the choker I was not sure what to do with, probably just continued it across. I am going to later experiment more with taking photos of minis and then using AI in an image-to-image fashion.
