White Light Solar - Herschel Wedge

Set up a QHY 462c camera and Astro-Tech 65 EDQ scope with an Herschel Wedge White Light solar filter, mounted on an iOptron CEM26 EQ mount.

Shot a few thousand video frames of the active regions on ol' Sol with a 2.5x and 5x PowerMate. Processed the video in Autostakkert to get the best frame out of 3000 video frames then moved over to Lightroom & Photoshop to complete the processing.

My sky is never good for a 5x PowerMate but one has to try. Forest fire smoke didn't help the situation!

Nice sunspot shots. I really like the comparison with the size of the earth.

Looks like we came out, even though was a little late, the sun spot minimum. I'll breat out mm y Lunt 60mm when I have the chance.
