Here are some more photos from my walk along the Dungeness Spit.
It is the longest sand bar in the US, if I understood the Ranger correctly.
The sign indicates that erosion from the sand bluffs adds 13 feet a year to the Spit.
I got a lot of pics of rocks and seaweed and other things which caught my interest

This looked like a piece of obsidian. I wondered if there were any under sea volcanoes that may have produced some that was moved by the tides.

Very nice photos! We used to love the walk out to (what was then) the end of the spit. Thirteen feet a year would make it a few hundred feet longer than it was back then in the 90's!
