Follow-up To my A Few From Our Yard 5-26-2023 post.
One Of Those Times event for me. Note the sunlight going the eye of the bird in #4.
The birds-a pair- seem to show different shades and tones of color as they move-reflecting the sunlight-interesting to me.
While watching and photographing the Pigeons I noted this Stellar's Jay bouncing around just past the area the Pigeons were in. As before, taken through two fences-may be seen in the background- so I banged out a quick shot.
D850, 500pF. Luv the IQ of these D850 files!

First nice shots. We have mourning doves in SW OHIO. They look exactly like the 3 first photos. They are iridescent also. As the sun moves about their body they show all manners of colors like a pearl white paint job. You did an excellent job catching some of the colors!!

This what we call a Mourning Dove in the PNW.
