Fantastic set of images!!
My first car to own & drive was a 1942 Chevy Coupe, but it sure didn't look that good.

1942 cars are pretty rare since most manufacturers switched over to military production shortly after Pearl Harbor. That Ford is beautifully detailed. I love the V8 nerf bars.

My 1942 Chevy coupe had military serial numbers on it being a teenager I didn't have enough sense to restore it.

Nice shots of a well done street rod. Back in the day, pin striping was all done by hand. An accomplished pin stripe painter was worth their weight in gold. I would think most if not all that’s on that car are decals and tape. That’s not meant to take anything away from the finishing of this car. That’s just the way things have evolved.
