President Biden surely made quite an impression on the world stage at the G7 Summit in Hiroshima, Japan this past weekend.

For example, Biden wowed attendees with his P**********l worldliness:

"I've spoken at length with President Loon of South Korea. He came to Washington of late."
(Unfortunately, the President of South Korea is named Yoon Suk Yeol.)

He painted a clear picture of how he is providing guidance and financial leadership with a steady hand:

"And there's a lot of other. For example, the idea that we're, uh, terms of, uh, taxes that they refuse to, for example, we uh, I was able to balance the budget and pass everything from the G****l W*****g Bill, anyway, I was able to cut by 1.7 billion dollars in the first two years, the deficit that we, uh, we were accumulating, and uh, because I was able to say to that 55 corporations in America that made 40, 400 billion dollars, or 40 billion dollars, 400 billion dollars, that uh, they uh, they had paid zero in tax. Zero!"

And he demonstrated what a Statesman he truly is:

"And what's going on now is, look at the meeting we had here today, uh, yesterday and today, of The Quad. I bet you, maybe some of you thought it, but I doubt that many, many people in this audience or any other audience, would've said that two years after being elected, I'd be able to convince India, Australia, Japan, and the United States to form an organization called the Quad. To maintain stability in the Indian Ocean and the South China Sea."
(Never mind that The Quad was actually formed in 2017 under Trump.)

It is truly sad.

I am not understanding your discussion about the UHH handling of long URL tags. UHH appears to ‘automatically’ shorten URLs beyond a certain length. But the SHORTENED link works just as well in most cases.
Clicking on the blue-highlighted URL (shortened by UHH or not) switches to the desired source; at least on my equipment (Apple iPad, iMac & iPhone).

I have had no problems posting shortened URLs on UHH, then viewing them later or when requoted in shortened form from other writers.

I have had good luck posting URLs when truncated after the “ref_source=“ portion.
