Does the tassel go to the right before or after the graduate commences? We never could get that correct. No one ever thought about it until it was too late. Should have been taught in school, maybe?

Be soo very proud of her accomplishment. I feel sorry for kids these days. Things were much simpler in my days (1965). Sure, we had problems but there are so many distractions for kids these days and to see someone succeed in spite of them is nothing short of wonderful. In my day if you had a problem with another guy you settled them after school but today they take out a gun and shoot you. Hug her tight and hope for the best.
