Tasman ice lake

The quest for sunrise started a little late in windy drizzle and we famously went toward "Tasman lake " versus Tasman River missing the trail to location and having to backtrack ...And then as I was huffing and puffing under my tripod and gear bag there was a miracle - sky cleared , wind died and the Ahaaaa! moment . I had to stop and take this photo letting everyone else race ahead of me to the platform ... Day light was getting stronger by the minute .Oh and sunrise was gorgeous also ...I now would love to come in winter and take Milky Way photos there all night ....
