Broke 4 of 5 metatarsal bones in my left foot the gout set in so havent been able to get out have already missed a lot of spring insects,

Sorry to hear about your foot! Ouch! Good set of photos! As an entomologist I found your photos interesting even though I was primarily an aquatic coleopterist!

Worst part of the foot was the gout 2 days after the break gout set in then went away then back again

Any one of the photos is a thing of pride... except for the broken toes... my bet is that many of us have broken toes when we say we have "stubbed our toes" on the corner support of a chair or bed... Poor toes... and to get gout... OUCH!!
