The eggs were a pleasant image to view... but these 24 legged creatures are not attractive. Furthermore, they have already eaten holes in the leaf.

I don't think carpet beetles would be out there. More likely vegetarian Chrysomelid beetle larvae of some kind.

LOVE the eggs! You are very fortunate to still have an abundance of "bugs.'' Where i used to have so many it was a challenge to get them all now I search for hours and may be lucky enough to find a couple (insects that is eggs have always been scarce).
