I have used Roboform for many years. It works great for me.

Firefox has one built in. It encrypts the information.
Will even store multiple credentials for the same site.
Turn on Master Password though, it prevents other people from using the stored credentials.

I use Lastpass. It works great and has a free version and a paid version. It is really versatile and uses a master password.

I just put them in a spreadsheet. I used to use paper but with occasional changes and additions it got cumbersome and a piece of paper can get lost. With a spreadsheet I can add a site that needs a password, change an existing password, put them all in alphabetical order by site so I can find the one I want in the two pages of sites and passwords. When I add and/or change a password I change the name of the file to include the current date. That gives me a history of all the changes. I can keep a copy of the spreadsheet on all my computers.

sticky password has a free, subscription based or a pay once version. It has worked well for me.

Yup, have that also, in a PW protected spreadsheet. Including last changed date and any associated "keyword" answers. Great for traveling with the laptop.
Of course the major ones are in my head.

An open source program that has been around a very long time. Its database is physically kept by YOU, not by some company. So high profile data breaches like the ones suffered by LastPass are not possible.

I also have them in a spreadsheet. It is not on any PC. I keep it on a flash drive only. If someone gets a PC they can't get my passwords.

You can encrypt a spreadsheet or password protect it.

I have used KeePass for a couple decades. Your passwords are saved on your device, encrypted. KeePass is open source, and of course free. Many password managers entwine themselves into you browser, to fill password requests for you. That is my job. Firefox is handy, but the passwords are saved in cleartext. LongShadow mentioned a solution.
