My best photo of Zion N.P.
We were not part of the crowds we stayed in the car. We find we have to stay away in the summer because of too many people. Will visit in off season but find that is becoming narrower and narrower.
We found another way to enjoy the canyon. The road from Colorado City to Rockville provides some wonderful views and is less crowed. It is a large canyon but small by places to visit unless you want to do some serious hiking. I am too old for that now.
I drove tour bus through the canyon during the late 60s. I guess I just miss the good ole days. I am old and it was venture to drive 7 miles away to Annabelle but now one is not well traveled unless they have been to Tahiti. We were involved in work, chores and maintaining life. Nowadays people have to much free time on their hands. Maybe we should do as the Maya and build massive cities so the offspring can spend their time trying to figure out how we did it.
