I went out last night lugging the tripod with the Panasonic fz1000ii on it as I wanted to try a time lapse of the sunset here in Woodstock, Ontario over Pittock Lake. I took along the Nikon z50 with the Sigma 100-400 just in case any small birds showed up along the shoreline. Well, what happens, out of nowhere a Bald Eagle shows up, and I quickly learned two things first always be prepared for the unexpected, and second, I need to learn to shoot with the sun back lighting my photos better, but I will still take these shots as mementos of a fantastic moment. Edited in NX Studio and then thru Topaz. I also think the Nikon z50 will turn out to be a great camera for any hobbyist photographer who doesn't want to break the bank account but wants to get into mirrorless. As you can see in the last two photos I failed to keep the bird in the focus area and I am hoping with practice this will become easier and had nothing to do with any short comings of the Nikon z50.
Well done - good reactions, Greg!

Thanks very much, I will definitely have to learn back lit photography as the Eagles and Osprey frequent this area and to catch them in the evening you will always have to have the sun in your face as the other side of the lake is not accessible in that area.
