I have almost no B&W photo's.
I converted this one trying to get the look of the Hustler movie. I ended up converting it to Sepia which I like better. Both look better than the original color, which was at best yuck.

Yes, I like sepia too, but it sometimes looks too aged

I enjoy converting color photos into black and white images and want to see your images, too.

Thanks for hosting, Karin. B & W can always be interesting. Here are several I just did.

Here are a few of mine. Our local parks plus a combination I created, of one of our local sled riding hills and our kitchen table (sorry it is a bit Sepia) plus of my son and wife, my daughter and wife, my cousin's son and his daughter and since there are too many photo files, I'll have to add the last three of a December windstorm, in the next post.

Very nice. My favorite is the snow fall in the forest and the outstanding and beautiful portraits!!!!

... Here are the final three of the December windstorm. We had extremely high winds on this day and huge waves hitting the break wall. The seagulls were safer just being in the air than standing on the ground and were hardly moving forward.

Incredible...the water, birds, clouds, and rocks!!

P. 3 Looks like nos. 1 and 2 were made for B&W.

Perhaps more so than the others but I prefer to have street scenes in black and white.

A wildlife collection from my long-ago and happily remembered Kenya days. Most of these were taken with a Pentax 1a and 200mm Soligor lens. Otherwise the 50mm (I think) "kit" lens. I didn't record the settings but I generally started at f8 at 1/60th, using Kodachrome film I forget what speed, but I think originally 60 and then 100 - does that sound right? Scanned with an Epson V600.

Except for the rhino and elephant (taken in Amboselli at the foot of Kilimanjaro), they were taken in Nairobi National Park - we used to drive through in the late afternoon on our way to the Drive-in, using an annual season ticket costing £5 - say 25/30 bucks
