From Saturday's Alpen Car Show in Gaylord, Michigan.

Cold (In the low 40s), it had been raining & misting all morning, with a heavy overcast. It was just starting to let up.

What to do? I decided to run with it.

Two nearly identical 1966 Ford Mustangs, different owners, friends of each other.

I just kept playing around in Lightroom with these.

The paint job on this one was incredible.

The skies really added to the photos. Awesome cars; 289 V8s were THE engine for those cars.

Great work! And beautiful cars! Many owners of cars like those roll them back into the enclosed trailer at the first dark cloud. They never actually drive them either. I figure cars need to be driven to be truly appreciated.

Great cars. Four of us TCU students put the top down on a new Mustang convertible in 1965 and drove it down to the opening of the Astrodome. Boy did we think we were something!

To be such nice Mustangs number 4 the interior floor is awful. Keep it nice as the outside. I started out with a 65 Mustang 289 4-speed. What a car. My next car was a 1969 Mach 1 351 Mustang, very fast and beautiful. I wish I still had both. What awesome cars they were. I saw a commercial one time with Bill Elliott the race car driver. He was standing at his house with 3-4 cars and there was a Blue with gold stripe Mach that looked exactly like mine. my heart went to the floor. Oh well. Keep posting I Love these photos. Thanks BE SAFE!!

Beautiful images and great cars KT!

I have fond memories of a 65 I owned as a teenager....and on Friday nights racing it on NJ I-287 along with a bunch of other guys. Older and wiser, I don't do that anymore, but still smile when I think about it.

Beautiful photos of a beautiful car. Agree the mats need replaced. Wonder if anyone ever ignores when he honks the horn?

Love these cars and pictures. My first car out of college was a 1965 Mustang GT. Wish I still had it.
