Florida Cactus Blooms

Cacti flourish here in central Florida as well as in the desert Southwest. Unfortunately, these blooms are just a memory as the HOA I live in would not allow me to keep the adjacent lot that we owned in a natural state. We ended up selling the lot to our neighbor who sodded it and only retained a large Royal Poinciana tree. At least we don't abut another house and I managed to save several pieces of this cactus which are now planted in several inconspicuous locations on our lot.

Nice shots! Never say never, but I will NEVER live in an HOA controlled home!! That's one of the problems we are having, trying to find a place to settle down when we finally shut the RV down for good!

Very nice images FL Streetrodder. Florida HOA's can be a real pain in the rear. Got a letter from ours once for a dirty mail box.
