Which is what I do mostly. Weather-wise today was beyond delightful. Took a bus to do some shopping and saw some guys not aware of the weather. This first was from the bus. Walking home gave me the next two. The lady in the sunlight had come out of the shadows so I shot literally from the hip. I like the lines so it's included.
The lady pretending to be a bird (?) thanked me for complimenting her outfit.
Back in the day, stoops were where one played stoopball, or passed a hot summer night. Today stoops seem to be for getting mildly stoned on tokes. The blond is a 15 year old 6'2" still growing youngster. He was very relaxed.

Good street shots - capturing life in this era. Ventilated jeans seem to be the outer wear choice for girls up to about age 40 these days. That outfit in the 3rd photo seems a bit incongruous.

You can people watch all day there. I live at the NJ shore and you can sit on boardwalk doing thesame thing. We have have a lot of nightlife, live bands, and some of the outfits the women wear are interesting to say the least. Guess they have to be comfortable for a long night of drinking
and dancing. At 70 yo I could be easily be their grandfather, there is a very mixed age crowd as a tourist town. Great Rock and roll music.
