"autofocus" got me started yesterday looking at my old Ferrari photos and his and then I went on the internet and found the latest Ferrari for sale. I didn't want anyone to miss out in case you didn't know about it. It's just a little over two million so you may have to sell a couple of unused camera bodies. For me it's a toss-up. Ferrari...Miata Ferrari...Miata Ferrari...Miata I'm gonna go with the Miata and keep my R6 II.

Yipes! The car is a killer ... as in killer of your dreams of owning a Ferrari. Is the ejection seat optional?

It is. The loan company installs it.

I suspect the maintenance on a $3.1 million car will be larger than the maintenance on a $3.1 million house. Since I can't afford either one, it makes no difference.

I have two Miatas one is the special edition and I have to Nikon cameras. The Ferraris are nice but only to look at.
Where do you drive a car like that to really enjoy it?
Bruce.

Probably not much worse than my old truck. 12mpg. 8mpg with the snowplow.

YES, love the looks of this...well, mostly. Not sure of that vented rear end look, and let's face it, rear ends are important! However, you found some really terrific shots of them Ray! As they say, it might not buy happiness, but a huge supply of cash would buy a few of these, and help one deal with their sadness!

Polo Grounds a good show? Not familiar with it Ray. I might recommend the upcoming Greenwich Concours Show on June 4th, usually a great venue! I had bought a ticket for the show a while ago before I found out about the surgery I'll be going through tomorrow, and, unfortunately, that will definitely keep me from going in early June. I hate missing that show!

Take your Miata to Naples, Italy and drive to Bari, Italy via highway E842/E55 a distance of approximately 160 miles. Once you are about twenty miles east of Naples put your foot to the floor and hold on for the best wild ride for the next 135 miles, kill the fun approximately twenty five miles before reaching Bari on the east coast of Italy. This stretch of road is a mountain highway with lots of twisties to test your driving skill and the automobile's capability. I have done this road twice, once from west to east and once from east to west. One piece of advice should you decide to test your mettle, if starting in the west, drive the road in the afternoon as that will keep the sun at your back. Obviously, if you choose to drive east to west, then start in the morning shortly after sunup and that will keep the sun at your back during the trip. Enjoy!

I sold my "creampuff" 2012 Miata two summers ago, Bruce and have been kicking myself ever since. I bought a 2005 Z4 last May and as much as I really like the car, I've NEVER had more fun driving a car in my 71 years of driving, as I did with the Miata. I've got a '22 Miata in my sights. It's not just about speed, because the BMW is very fast (3 Liter-6 speed), but it's more in the handling. I want to go with a '19 or newer because they have 181 hp (with the stick) and they're plenty quick and still get 30 mpg! It's funny, I get compliments on the Z4 every time I take it out whereas, folks just seem to look past the Miata. Miata's are underrated jewels if you ask me!!

Not a "good" show, Vinny...a "great" show. Bugatti's, Koenigsegg's, Pagani's, Hennesey's, Ferrari's galore and any others you can think of on 1/2 of a polo field and then on the other half they have domestic and foreign classics, hot rods and normal "car show" fair. Why don't you join me next year?! This initially was a "Ferrari" show held at the State Capital in Hartford. The Ferrari owners would drive in a caravan to the Children's Hospital in Hartford and pick up a child and drive them back to the capital building via Bushnell Park where they would do a couple of laps and then "goose" them a little to everyone's glee and then "parade style" drive past us spectators and they would wave to us and we them. I tear up a little just recalling the scene. Little kids with bandanas covering up their little pale, bald heads... All smiles as I ask them to pose for a picture. It's something you wouldn't forget. Letterman had a couple of his Ferrari's there. At any rate it just got too big and was moved to the Polo grounds in Farmington.I have a friend that showed his "328" last year and will be showing his XKE next month. I threw in this '51 Ford for good measure. it was an exceptionally nice modification. The builder placed this body on a late model Mustang that had been wrecked. the interior and drivetrain were all modern Mustang. Gorgeous!
