Flies are always an abundant source of subjects. This is a little housefly that I caught this afternoon and staged it for a focus stacking session using the 10X Mitutoyo M Plan APO microscope objective as the optic for the camera.

Thanks, Mark. Actually, it just worked out that way for it was all of the fly that would fit the frame at 10X. I found that 5X is far more practical than 10X for it provides a more inclusive view of a subject rather than a more magnified view of a specific part of the subject.
