This is from a T-shirt I got in Bangkok Thailand, in March of this year (2023).

Enjoy.

I guess the film enthusiasts are all over the world. I need to finish up the five or six rolls I have in as many cameras.

I have a roll of Ektachrome 100 in the freezer section of a small refridgerator and since it's a small and cheap fridge it has no auto defrost. so now the roll is stuck in the ice. I will have to defrost it before I can shoot it. I only have 1 roll of film and many cameras I don't know which camera I am going to use.

Now I get my roll of Ektachrome E100 out I have a dilema of picking the camera to shoot it. And no I won't be shooting one part with one and other part with other.
Cameras I think of using are:
Nikon F5
Nikon FM2n
Yashica Lynx 14 or Lynx 14e
Kodak Retina IIa

Pick the one that still works?
If they all still work pick the one you liked best when you were using them.
If you like them all the same flip a coin 3 times.

Actually I leave out the one I like best which is the Nikon F3. All of them work.

So you have answered your own question it would seem. ;)

Friday, a Co-worker gave me an F3 and two lenses. The shutter is locked. On my Olympus OM-1 Film Camera, I seem to remember that the shutter will lock if the battery is dead. You being an F3, user, can you tell me if that is true of the F3?

Yes the shutter will not work on any shutter speed. You can release the shutter via the mechanical release which is in front of the camera. It's only for 1/80 sec. You don't even have B or T if you dont have battery. On the OM-1 it would work without battery. It's the OM-2 that needs battery.
No I have not answered my own question. I like the F3 the best but I have decided not to use it for this roll of film. I want to use one of the other cameras.

Thanks and good luck with choosing a camera. Many would be happy to have such a problem as which camera to use! ;)

Not really. If film is cheap and easy to buy I would put a roll in each camera.

Film Prices have gone up but so has everything else with the rampant inflation we are having.

I generally load BW and Color rolls in two cameras and otherwise keep the film in the fridge until I'm ready to use it.

You can't afford film?

Yah the price of film is very high and the processing is also high. A roll of Ektachrome is now $21.99 at B&H. Processing mailer is $12.99. So it's about $1 a shot. That what I used to pay for 4x5.

Yes that Ektachrome is great but the price has gone up. Demand has gone up, I read that the Manuf was looking to hire people to increase production. I bought a lot of this when the cost was lower, and have kept it in the fridge.

That the major reason I stop using film, cost just got too much.
