No Glamour Queen, Muscle Car, or Custom was the pick this month, just a highly original "barn find" 1914 REO! The REO name was derived from Ransom E. Olds, a pioneer in the development of the automobile in the USA. Mr. Olds is credited with coming up with the concept of an assembly line, although it was Henry Ford who actually came up with implementing the assembly line in the USA for production of automobiles.
4 cyl motor waiting for a rebuild
Transmission & controls
Outfitted as a Pick-up with optional rear seating!
Interesting. A curiosity, too.

I’ve seen REO in concert several times. Pretty good band! They did make a speed wagon for many years in many configurations. I think this one that you’ve posted is before the speed wagon came out. Here is a photo of an add attached
Granny Clampett should be sitting in the rocking chair.

A convertible pickup and a three seater at that. I can vaguely remember my dad talking about the REOs/ I don't think he ever owned one.

I bet the parts to rebuild the engine will be hard to find.

Restorers are an ingenious breed and I'm sure the engine will run once again, although some parts may not be of original manufacture or design.
