Just wondering if there are users of the software "Snagit"
Can it be used for photography (editing etc)
Have seen a demo but unsure of its extent for photos
I use a PC (not currently a Mac user)
Any feedback / advice is appreciated

I have used Snagit to capture selected parts of some web page or other matter on screen. I don't understand your question about "edit" unless you mean what I have already described as "selecting parts". Hope this helps.

I've been using Snagit for quite some time and find it useful for capturing and editing literally any image you can bring up on your PC monitor, whether from web sites or stored photos uploaded from your camera. The attached photo was uploaded from my camera and edited to include the words "Don't Walk Here" in the image which was then stored as a new JPEG file.

Hope this answers your question.

I have an older version of snagit.... extremely useful.... I use it all the time. Works much better than snipit that is included with windows. Much more customizable. Very handy when trying to put together a presentation if you are assisting someone trying to learn a particular operation etc.

It is indeed! It's on I-40. We were on our way home from Dallas, TX to Fullerton, CA via Williams, AZ and the Grand Canyon which we want to re-visit now that we have a good DSLR [which I'm trying to learn how to use]. :-D The message I got from those two signs was "don't walk your dog here if you like your dog".

Yep it's a nice rest stop my wife and I came through there this past summer with the grand kids we live in California so we took them to Disneyland ,beach,Knotts Berry Farm you know the routine for children show them a good/fun time. That rest stop doe’s get its fair shot of some bad critters; just the same so one does have to be careful with pets.
