A very good recording of animal interactions. Reminds me of watching high school wrestling matches.

I guess I don't like watching two beautiful animals tearing each other apart. LOL

Pretty amazing how fast an animal that big can move. Great video. If people don't want to watch, don't click on the link. Duh!

One thing I learned from the video is, that if you get in a fight with one of them, grab it just behind the shoulder on the back, then you might live a few seconds longer.

I found it quite interesting... since we visited Katmai NP in June 2014. June being the breeding season for the grizzly's. We saw several pair from where we were. There was one male who was interested in a 'paired' female. Its mate was an older bear, and the younger male knew he was not up to the fight with the older male... It/they walked within 30 feet of us, the guide said the younger male 'knew' the older would not attack with humans present... Looks like this one didn't get that message/or watch its training videos! We were told that they rarely kill the losing opponent.

These kind of fights, which, btw, are not to the death, are found throughout the animal world to determine who is the dominant male and retains breeding rights. If the weakest were allowed to breed, the species would not survive. Get over your queezy stomachs.
