I attended a Corvette show at St. Armands Circle in Sarasota on 5/6/2023. Will be posting more on the next few days. This was the oldest Vette I saw there.
#43 out of 700 Roadsters made in 1955
One of 45 in Pennant Blue made in 1955
265 cu. in V-8 producing 195 HP (Matching numbers)
2 speed powerglide auto trans with Matching numbers.
Going to go up for sale on Mecum Indy 2023 Auction, Lot F97, on 5/29/2023.
These shows are always in the middle of the day so please excuse the harsh lighting.

I think you did very well! I've been to car shows at St. Armand's Circle and agree with you about the light. Crowds can be an issue, too. I see you've managed to keep the people at bay during your photography. Nicely done!

Nice shots! Not my favorite Vette (I like the one with what I refer to as the bullet scoop on the side) but still a beauty. I've never gone in for fancy autos, just considering them a way to get from point A to point B, but if I had a few thousand bucks to just have a 3rd auto that would just sit around 95% of the time, my dream car would be the 1961 Vette in red with red and white tuck & roll leather seats in a convertible body style. Like this one:

Absolutely beautiful 55. The 265 was the first OHV V-8 Chevy produced, stroke it 1/4 inch and it became a 283

I saw one of these in 1965 at Cross City, Florida. This one looks in pristine shape. Ought to sell for a bunch of $$$.
