Now that is very interesting and just confirms that yes, you can produce high quality large prints from an iPhone. Or other smartphone. Looks like it requires a couple special apps to do it, though. At least to the size he did, at 72 inches.

I think he used Topaz Gigapixel to upsize. It's a really good app if you ever plan on enlarging your Phone images for print.

Yeah, my understanding is that iPhone images print very nicely up to about 11x14, maybe 12x18. I don’t think I’ll be making any 6’ tall prints, though. The cost must be astronomical.

I've done 16x24 prints and they look great!

However cell phone companies have upped the game. The latest iphone has a 48 Mpixel sensor and a few of the current cell phones offer 100 Mpixel sensors.
It’s not the size of the dog in the fight that matters. What matters is the size of the fight in the dog.
