That is my recollection, I believe you are correct🤔❗️
Then I'll post this in remembrance of him.
If I recall correctly, a few years ago he posted a 'recent' photo of this crane as a rusty hulk;
this photo dates to the late 1970's.
Crane used by ND to handle coal once it had been delivered

A shot containing a lot of energy and excitement
When we traveled to Islip last week {to bury my Mother-in-Law’s ashes} I felt enervated by the crowds - perhaps they felt energy and excitement from what was drained
from me.
a Happy Mother's Day to all!

I am so sorry to hear that news, Pat. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Jim (Roadrunner) in person, we had exchanged many comments of photos along the way. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family.
I will pass that along, Tony.

Spectacular photos - especially of one of my favorite subjects: rust (Which feels like it is presently in the process of surrounding all of my joints) 🧡🟠🔥🟠🧡
I am right there with you.

I'll include your remembrances, rehess.
I have passed everything up to this point to Jim's wife Huguette.
It has been a good week of viewing all, thanks for sharing. It of course has been one with very sad news as well as we lost one of our faithful posters who possessed good humor and zest for life. The Roadrunner will have them in stitches everywhere he goes.
I have started the Free Sunday will look for you there.

These are gorgeous, JJ.
Thanks, Pat...hope you have a great day!
Jim was a great friend! We shared many a great story, about our lives and adventures, in the military service, in our daily lives while photographing, or while collecting objects we ran across on the ground. Rest in peace my friend.
