I just have to make a comment on William's captures and style... I really have to admit I don't quite understand the language but there is NO denying the creativity and freshness of his images. Without blowing smoke up his backside I think his visions and execution are off the charts. I wish I could SEE into my images nearly as well... I think William's stuff is some of the best on this site... NOW, I have said it, so banish me to somewhere... Hopefully with cookies, milk and a warm bed !

I found these shots at a C.C. Camp in the Winona Area on the way to Russellville.
I always like wooded shots. The second bridge shot made me think of the start of a slide or rollercoaster. 😊

Had strong storms move thru late this afternoon. Unusual cloud formations afterwards.
I went nuts just had to share. About 2 hour time frame.
I think the first pics are mammatus clouds that are formed by sinking rather than rising air. 🤔 (My deep thought for the day!)
I always find them interesting. Nice pics 😊

Makes me wonder if flowers are floating on or sinking into the water.
If I asked I bet you say “Yes”.
In your next series, as always, I like the color and textures you find.

Great series!!! The cloud formation really interesting. I've only seen clouds exactly like twice in North Idaho, and I'm nearly 79. I figured the clouds hanging down could potentially become tornados.
Very nice.

Thanks Gary. I in 70s only seen 2 or 3 times. But these were more intense or depth?? Funnel clouds come from these I don't think so. But possibly severe weather around, yes.

Good set. I had heard someone call them “buttermilk” skies👍👍
Thanks Larry, I didn't know type of clouds, but they are classified as "Mammatus". Learn something new everyday!
