Someone posted some beautiful Ocotillo shots recently and I did not want to show this one in response to her nice work but I had to share it. There has been a lot of interest in Joshua Tree National Park recently This Ocotillo is in the park right alongside the highway. They also featured it in a brochure at the time... 2009.

In the past we used them as living fences in AZ.

Thanks for the memories from when I lived in Southern California and traveled into the desert many times.

in Mesquite, NV. Made a great picture of my golf ball.

That's a beautiful specimen and a lovely image of it. The background is really nice and doesn't interfere with the plant.
