Recently I made a trip to the zoo. I go there several times a year, and each time I go with sort of a purpose. This time, my purpose was to get images that were a bit more "artful" than normal. I'm a journalistic photographer by nature, but I'm trying to put a bit more "art" into my images. I'd really like you to look at these and tell me how I did. Oh, and I got some hummer shots, which for me is REALLY exciting! I know they aren't "artful," but if I get more than a black blob, I'm ecstatic.
I have lots of pictures of the lions. Normally, he's just lying in the shade. This time he was moving about quite a bit, and I was able to get him in different positions in the enclosure. I sort of like this one under the tree.

I tried to get more of a close-up. It is cropped some - mostly from horizontal to vertical.

If you didn't tell us the lion pics were in a zoo, I wouldn't have known it. Great pics.
