It works on my Windows PC and Android phone. List your system and steps. I might be able to help.

In the library, I select a photo and hit the share symbol.

If I choose "Export As" there is no option to send to Google drive.
If I choose "Share To" and select the Google Drive, it uploads a jpeg.

What are you trying to accomplish? RAW files are read-only. The Adobe products never write updates into a RAW, nor is that an "export" option.

What does that mean "read only?" I can move RAW dng's out of Lightroom Mobile to my phone's library and then export the RAWs to my Google Drive using Google Photos. I then dowload and process the dng RAW files through Adobe Raw.

A RAW file that has image data changed is of course not RAW (it cah be reformated, for example Canon RAW to dng).

I was just looking for a way to export RAWS directly to Google Drive......I now suspect that Adobe provides no way to do that.

Try this. Works on my ipad. In LR Mobile, choose your image, then Save To Files. A little fly out will open with your choices of where. Default is Adobe cloud, and on mine, Apple Icloud. On mine, there is a circle with little dots at the top right of the fly out that lets you add other choices to your options besides Adobe cloud. Google Drive and perhaps others should be there, but it may not be turned on. Turn it on and it should show as an option you could choose.

A DNG is not a RAW file. That is now the read-only image payload with an Adobe wrapper around that payload. It walks and talks like a RAW file from the camera, but that is no longer the same thing as the original file from the camera. A DNG can be edited by many softwares as well as being a valid export option from these various software titles.

When you mean a DNG, you need to use that designation. Just as when you mean an apple, you don't say orange. Possibly, the Adobe software has a false assumption / limitation of expecting to export display formats to non Adobe 'mobile' storage. You might be better served starting a Technical Support Chat directly with Adobe about their software.

You had better tell Adobe they are wrong. Also, what does this have to do with the original post ?

"What is a DNG file?
DNG means Digital Negative. It’s a type of raw file format used in digital photography, developed on the TIFF 6.0 format. With an abundance of different cameras and editing software on the market, file compatibility has proved a challenge for photographers when sharing and developing their work. The creation of DNG files gives photographers greater control over their images and allows digital camera manufacturers to work to a consistent, open standard.

A DNG file stores uncompressed image data on digital cameras from numerous manufacturers, allowing users to store, share, and edit their work without hitting compatibility barriers."

Thanks, but I see no other options in LRM for Android.
Ah well.......I will use the two step process
- Export dng to device
- Use Google Photos to upload to Google Drive

This is a fairly long video but it shows you how to import your images taken on your phone into Lightroom Clasic and copy your files to a folder on your desk top or laptop.

Right click on the photo pick show in Finder/Explorer. When the folder opens drag and drop to your google drive.
Done

That should work. But...Did you try the Save To Files option? Once you choose that option, you still will not see Google Drive unless you activate it in the submenu. In iOS that submenu is represented by 3 dots, indicating there's stuff hiding there. I can't imagine why it would be different on Android but perhaps it is.
