Recently shot over 200 shots at the Odysea Aquarium in Scottsdale, Az. Lighting conditions are poor for many exhibits. I was forced to shoot at between 10,000 and 20,000 ISO so I could manage a 1/25 speed. at F7.1. The attached gator shot is at those settings and I was amazed at the clarity of the shot. Since owning the camera since 2017, the highest ISO I previously used with success was 3,400. Comments welcome.

You did very well shooting at such high ISO. Like it is I find it very acceptable with good sharpness and still some grain (noise) left.
Any denoise software will take care of the noise unless you prefer it like it is.

3,400? You are using one of the best cameras ever made. Canon knew its business when it introduced the 1D series. There is not a better camera offered today. If you have not used ISO above 3,400 you are missing lots of potential images. My 1 Dx M -1 (I realize that moniker does not exist) has been used at midnight before and ISO of 3,400 wasn't even close. With the advent of new photography software ( de-noise features) look to use ISO in 5 digits using your camera. It will handle it! Price and weight are the only downsides but the results are worth the effort. Have fun with your toy.
