Like the title says, just a simple pound cake. Made it today and my wife and I hade a piece tonight with strawberries and whipping cream on top.

Nicely done, I used my imagination for the strawberries and cream. I haven't made a pound cake in yrs.

That sure looks good. I prefer Raspberries myself but Strawberries will do in a pinch.

I have never tried Raspberries and whipping cream on my pound cake but I bet it would be good. Thanks for the comment.

That looks great! Have not seen one in that type of pan. You motivate me to make my red velvet swirl pound cake that I have not made in a long time!
