Took this when we were leaving, color and B&W. Hmmmm, dilemma. Which one or neither?

Each has a it's own uniqueness. The first, shows all the beautiful colors of the umbrellas while the second brings the repeating shapes and variants of gray.
I would like to ask the question of what your primary focus was for the photo? Is it the street scene with the umbrellas being an added attraction or are the umbrellas the main subject? My personal opinion is that this photo would greatly benefit from a crop but the crop would be different depending on what your preference is?
This is just what I see in your photo and would like to know what you see and were trying to convey to the viewer.

I like them both, Jeff, and my winner is the black and white. It has more impact, to me at least.
From where I sit, the black and white punches harder.
It's a good shot, Jeff. But it's a toss as to which is better, so I'll let you pick it.
